Join, confirm, correct or remove
Membership of PFAS Communities UK is free. No money is asked for or handled.
Who can join
Resident-led and community groups of people living with PFAS or other contamination from nearby industrial sites. NGOs are welcome as supporters: they can be listed as supporters, and members decide for themselves how they work with them.
How to join
For now, email hillhouseguardian@proton.me. A network address is coming and this page will be updated when it is live. Please include:
- the name of your group;
- the country and the locality it covers;
- the kind of contamination, in general words (no allegations needed);
- whether it is resident-led, mixed, or NGO-led;
- a public web page or social page for the group, if there is one;
- a way for us to reply to the group.
We will reply by email. We publish the group name, country, locality, type and public link only. We do not publish the names or contact details of private individuals.
If your group is already listed
A Listed entry was compiled by us from public information and you have not been asked. Email us from the group, quoting the entry name, and tell us which you want:
- Confirm it. The entry becomes a Member entry, and you can show a badge.
- Correct it. Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, point us to a public page that shows the right detail.
- Remove it. We will remove the entry. You do not need to give a reason.
Removal at any time
Any group can ask to be corrected or removed whether it is Listed or a Member, now or later.
Using the badge
Members can add a membership badge to their own site. See Banners. Please do not use a badge until your group has been confirmed as a member.
